2019 presidency: Durotoye joins the growing list of contenders


Moghalu, Buhari also running

The motivational speaker, Fela Durotoye has formally joined the list of 2019 presidential contenders in Nigeria after clinching the ticket of the Alliance for New Nigeria, ANN, at its National Convention and primaries held on Saturday in Abuja.
To win, Durotoye polled 240 votes while Gbenga Olawepo Hashim got 7.
He had earlier been chosen as consensus aspirant on the platform of the Presidential Aspirants Coming Together, PACT.
Other emergent contenders that are in contention for the presidency are Professor Kingsley Moghalu of the Youth Progressive Party, YPP and the incumbent President, Muhammadu Buhari, who on Friday emerged winner of the direct primaries contest of the All Progressives Party held in different states of the country.
