Abiola, Ochonu, Kato for 2021 Wole Soyinka lecture

The political figure, Hafsat Abiola, the scholar, Professor Moses Ochonu and activist, Ndi Kato are among speakers and discussants billed to take part in the 2021 edition of the annual Wole Soyinka lecture.
The programme is being organised by the Wole Soyinka Center for Investigative Journalism in concert with the African Centre for Media Information Literacy, AFRICMIL.
According to the organisers, the event is scheduled to hold on July 13th and is being convened to honour the organisation’s patron, the Nobel laureate, Professor Wole Soyinka.
The theme is Remaking Nigeria: Towards a Stable and Secure Union and it is inspired by a new book by AfricMIL and partners that was published to commemorate Nigeria’s 60th Independence anniversary.
Other speakers and participants at the parley include the lawyer, Inibehe Effiong and the Director of the Wole Soyinka Center for Investigative Journalism, Motunrayo Alaka.
