African Writing hosts Nigeria Prize for Literature longlist authors

African Writing has hosted the Nigeria Prize for Literature 2022 longlist authors in a virtual session where the authors read from their works to an audience of eager book enthusiasts and lovers of literature.

 

Among the longlisted authors who took part in the exercise moderated by the writer, Chuma Nwokolo, Thursday were Ogaga Ifowodo, Chijioke Amu Nnadi, Iquo Diana Abasi, James Eze and Su’eddie Vershima Agema,

 

The Nigeria Prize for Literature is endowed by the Nigeria Liqufied Natural Gas Company, NLNG and this year’s edition is restricted to entries in the poetry genre.

 

The longlisted poets are billed to participate in another reading session , this time hosted by the NLNG in conjunction with the Committee for Relevant Art, CORA, at the MUSON Cenre in Lagos on Sunday, August 7, 2022.
