Anambra: APC in uphill task to reverse APGA lead

As voters in the Ihiala Local Government Area of Anambra State go to the polls today in continuation of the suspended gubernatorial contest in Anambra state, pundits say the All Progressives Congress, APC candidate, Senator Andy Uba is facing an uphill task in his bid to reverse the early lead secured by his rival, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA.

At the close of the polls on Saturday, APGA had cleared  18 of the 20 local government outcomes declared, leaving the PDP and YPP with marginal wins in one local government apiece.

Voting resumes in Ihiala at 10am this morning and runs until 4pm after which the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC is expected to announce the ultimate winner and close the process.
