School to be closed Friday, medical probe report due Wednesday

Concern is mounting in Ghana following confirmation that eight students of Kumasi Academy have died in controversial circumstances.

On Tuesday, distraught parents stormed the school asking to be allowed to take their children home on account of the ‘mysterious school deaths.’

A medical investigation has since been ordered into the incidents with a report due to be released, Wednesday.

Preliminary approval has also been given for the closure of the school on Friday.
