What is really going on down there?
By John Eche
Controversy is trailing the attack by the Nigeria Air Force on areas of conflict in Adamawa State that has seen Fulani herdsmen and local communities engaged in fighting for days now.
While the Air Force is insisting that all that it did was to fire ‘warning shots’ to stem the tide of violence, other accounts are insinuating that it is somewhat more than that.
Here are some comments taken from Twitter:
The Nigerian Air Force set fighter helicopters to fire “warning shots” at the Adamawa Communities suffering from herdsmen attacks. Those “warning shots” killed 50 locals. How do people complain about getting killed by herdsmen only to get killed by NAF?

Hundreds of indigenous Numan Christians in Adamawa state were attacked and killed by jihadist Fulani herdsmen. When they tried to defend themselves the Buhari govt. sent in the Airforce to bomb hundreds of them and protect the Fulani aggressors. Is this fair? WORLD TAKE NOTE!
