The Difference celebrates #KenyaDayinLagos, Thursday

The pan-African newspaper, The Difference is celebrating #KenyaDayinLagos on Thursday, December 12th.

The event which is to commemorate its monthly #FocusNationAfrica series in December is billed to hold from 12-3pm at the Bookshop House, CMS, Lagos, Nigeria.

Several speakers drawn from the hospitality, banking, research and social welfare arena are scheduled to grace the event.

They include Dr Raphael James of the Centre for Research, Information Management and Media Development, CRIMMD; Uri Ngozichukwuka, founder, Empathy Driven Women International Initiative, Nigeria, EDWIIN; and Oluwole Olusanya of Sterling Bank.

The session is being hosted by CSS Bookshops Limited whose Managing Director, Mr. Dare Oluwatuyi is expected to deliver the host’s welcome address.

The #FocusNationAfrica series which has been running consistently in the past two years is a companion activity to the annual Africa Day Colloquium which is also hosted by The Difference Newspaper on May 25th every year. It was instituted to promote pan-African education and awareness in Nigeria through the commemoration of the national days of different African nations on a monthly basis.

Other than CSS Bookshops Limited, other collaborating organisations are the African Centre for Media and Information Literacy, AFRICMIL; Centre for Children’s Health, Education, Orientation and Protection, CEE-Hope; and the Centre for Research Information Management and Media Development, CRIMMD.
