El-Rufai under fire for declaring Wabba wanted

By John Eche

Kaduna State Governor and his officials have come under fire on social media for declaring Nigeria Labour Congress President, Ayuba Wabba and other labour leaders participating in the ongoing strike action in the state wanted.

Taking to his social media handle, the governor had tweeted:

‘Nasir Ahmad El-Rufai

@elrufai

KADUNA UPDATE: Ayuba Wabba & others of

declared wanted for economic sabotage & attacks on public infrastructure under Miscellaneous Offences Act. Anyone that knows where he is hiding should send a message to

. KDSG. There will be a handsome reward!’

In response however, several commentators had faulted his call, arguing that it is indeed out of place.
