Will Nigeria get ahead against all odds?
By Our Correspondent
Enyimba FC of Nigeria is today locked in a make or break challenge to shrug off the 0-1 advantage secured by Morocco’s Raja Casablanca FC in the second leg of the quarter-final stage competitive encounter scheduled to take place in the North African nation.
And should they lose, they have a veritable home-made excuse: the infighting within the Nigerian Football Federation, NFF that has led to the crippling of the local league and thus made it virtually impossible for the Aba-based side to get the best and most engaging warm-up preparations ahead of today’s very critical knock-out tussle.
But then Nigerian fans remain hopeful that indeed, something miraculous could happen to help the team proceed further into the semi-finals stages of the tournament. ‘After all, God is a Nigerian!’
