Enyimba Stadium to be ready soon

Renovation work going on at the moment

Renovation work on the Enyimba Stadium in Aba, Abia State, Nigeria is set to be concluded soon, feelers from the field indicate.

And to confirm that work is indeed going on according to schedule, Abia Governor, Okezie Ikpeazu was on site Friday to see things for himself.

Sparing any disruptions in the work schedule, indications are that the contractors could deliver and hand over the refurbished stadium to the management within the next three weeks, or at the minimum, get the playing pitches and stands ready for use by the players, their officials, visiting teams and fans.

In the period while repairs had been ongoing, the club had been compelled to play its home matches elsewhere, including at the U.J Esuene Stadium, Calabar.
