Expectations are rife within the books ecosystem in Nigeria as the Network of Book Clubs and Reading Culture Promoters in Nigeria, NBRP hosts its Book Clubs and Libraries parley on Wednesday, August 17, 2022, The Difference reports.

With the theme, Managing Book Clubs in Libraries in Nigeria, the virtual event would feature the National Librarian/CEO, National Library of Nigeria, Professor Veronica Chinwe Anunobi and the President of the Nigerian Library Association, NLA, Pastor Dominic Omokaro as Special Guests.

The Lead Speaker is the Director of Training at the African Libraries Associations and Institutions, AfLIA, Dr Nkem Osuigwe while the event is to be moderated by NBRP Vice Chair and University Librarian at the Federal University, Otuoke, Bayelsa State, Prof Felicia Etim.

Stakeholders in the book clubs and libraries ecosystem say that they hope that the session would come out with a fitting framework for greater collaboration between both tiers of the reading promotions circuit.
