Experience 2017 takes place on a high


Worshippers remain active till 5.00am1

It was a veritable sea of humans that gathered to worship the God of creation, Friday night through Saturday morning at the 12th edition of the annual The Experience gospel music concert which was held at the Tafawa Balewa Square, Lagos.

With crowd figures running into an estimated hundreds of thousands, the participants, sang danced and prayed from 7p.m through 5.00am.

Participating guest ministers included Don Moen, Donnie McClurkin, Travis Greene, Chioma Jesus, Micah Stampley, Chevelle Franklin and Nathaniel Bassey. Others were Midnight Crew, Segun Obe, Beejay Sax, Frank Edwards, Tope Alabi, Onos Ariyo and the Lagos Metropolitan Gospel Choir.

Preachers at the event included Bishop Mike Okonkwo, Pastor Tunde Joda, Pastor Victor Adeyemi, Pastor Wale Adefarasin, Paster Mercy Ezekiel, Pastor Roseline Oduyemi Pastor and Mrs Sam and Nike Adeyemi and the host pastor, Paul Adefarasin.

The Governor of Lagos State, Mr Akinwunmi Ambode, Minister of Trade and Industry, Okechukwu Enelamah, GTB GMD/CEO, Mr Segun Agbaje; entertainment personalities, Richard Mofe Damijo, ‘AliBaba’ Atoyota Akpobome and Soni Irabor; Lagos PDP strongman, Mr. Jimi Agbaje and a coterie of members of the diplomatic corp were also in attendance.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Ambode lauded the organisers for putting together and showcasing excellence all through the 12 years in which the event had been staged this far.
