Session on #Botswana flags off monthly #FocusNationAfrica project

A forum convened by The Difference Newspaper and the CRIMMD Free Public Library, Lagos has made a case for greater intra-African trade and synergy among the peoples of Africa.
The event which was the first edition of the monthly #FocusNationAfrica series put together by the pan-African media organisation to celebrate the national days of different African nations and promote greater awareness about the continent among its peoples, took place at the CRIMMD Library, Idimu, Lagos on Thursday.
Underscoring that it was indeed easier and more natural to trade with your immediate neighbours before going on to trading with far-off states, the forum tasked Africans to more vigorously explore improved trade relations among themselves and specifically urged that they take full advantage of the African Continental Free Trade Agreement, #AfCFTA initiative.
One such area of increased cooperation and trade that was advocated was the tourism and travel sector where African citizens were charged to consider exercising more of their vacation options to resorts and destinations within the continent. Schools desiring educational excursion opportunities for their peoples were also tasked to equally explore African nations for such purposes.
