Gov. Okowa commissions new library complex at Oleh
By Ada Anioji
Apparently responding to public criticism on the decrepit state of library facilities in the state, and notably in the Isoko area, the Delta State Government has now gone ahead to give to the people an upscale library experience.
The new Library complex, located in Oleh in the Isoko area presents a very different picture from that hitherto conveyed by the picture of the decrepit State Library Complex in Ozoro, another town within the same Isoko language and culture belt of the state.
The Delta State Governor, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa commissioned the new library project on Thursday at a ceremony that was graced by the creme de la creme of the Isoko and Delta political and traditional elite.
