After suffering a defeat at the hands of Abia United in the first round of the Nigerian Professional Football League series last weekend, MFM FC has a chance to convince bookmakers that its performance in last year’s edition was just a singular run of hard luck.

Wednesday’s crucial encounter is the place to prove this and the Olukoya boys just have to perform if the team is to win back the confidence of its home Agege Stadium crowd that was surely disappointed over news of its loss to the Umuahia lads at the weekend.
