Aftermath of rough treatment in APC
By Tajudeen Hamzat
Rinsola Abiola, daughter of the late Bashorun MKO Abiola, presumed winner of the June 12, 1993 presidential elections, has finally pitched her tent with the Action Democratic Party, ADP.
A former aide to House of Representatives Speaker, Yakubu Dogara on New Media, she had left the All Progressives Congress, APC, days ago alleging hostile treatment and intimidation following her indicating interest in running for the Senate on the platform of that party.
Rinsola, who has also accused the APC of not being youth friendly would likely be running for the Senate on the platform of her new party in the Ogun Central Senatorial Area.
Should she get the nod of her party, she may then be running against, among others, any of outgoing Ogun State Governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun and Senator Lanre Tejuosho who have already indicated their intention to vie for the same seat on the platform of the APC.

Following engagements with the leadership of several political parties in Ogun state, today – along with other youths and women – I joined ADP at the inauguration of Abeokuta North LGA excos.
