As hostilities on the field of play become more intense, Saturday’s World Cup quarterfinal encounter between Morocco and Portugal is tickling Africans everywhere, The Difference reports.
The Moroccans who are the ‘last man standing’ of the continent’s representatives at the ongoing mundial in Qatar, had despatched another tough European side, Spain via penalty shoot-outs to get to this stage of the tournament.
Croatia and Argentina have equally qualified for the semi final stage of the competition, albeit also via penalty shoot outs.
The final quarterfinal match is between old rivals and close neighbours, France and England.
