New book tackles issues of dying and death

A new book, Dying, Death and Comfort Measures which advocates inclusive medical and non-medical care options for addressing the challenges people face at the end of life is set to hit the book stands.

Weitten by Pete Webster, the book is coming on the imprint of AuthorHouse.

According to the text of a statement from the publishers:

‘Pete Webster wanted to help patients, patients’ families and caregivers to cope better with their dying loved ones’ struggles and needs at the very end of life. It is for this reason he has written “Dying, Death and Comfort Measures” (published by AuthorHouse).

This book’s ultimate goal is to provide better understanding and recommendations for tackling and coping with hospice crisis conditions. When asked what he wants readers to take away from the book, Webster answers, “There isn’t much we can do about the past except learn from it, we do have some control over today and most control tomorrow. Our love ones’ end of life journey should be welcome, cherished and comfortable regardless of the out of control symptoms and other dynamic. We can only achieve the above thru knowledge and hence, this book is designed to empower the dying, their families and caregivers and society in general.”
