Nollywood: Genevieve fetes Pete Edochie at 74

Nollywood actress, Genevieve Nnaji is celebrating with iconic Thespian, Pete Edochie on his turning 74.
Nnaji, winner of the maiden African Movies Academy Awards, AMAA took to her twitter handle to post the greetings to Edochie who is considered by many as a literal grandfather in Nollywood.
Holder of an Industry Merit Award by Africa Magic and Lifetime Achievement by Africa Film Academy and the prestigious Member of the Order of the Niger, MON, Edochie is most famous for his playing the lead role in the television adaptation of Professor Chinua Achebe’ Things Fall Apart. His son, Yul Edochie also functions within the industry.
He is a seasoned administrator and broadcaster and has starred in literally hundreds of films. They include: Zoza (2006), Azima (2005), Baby Girl (2005), End of Money (2005), Living in Tears (2005), Across the Niger (2004), Secret Pain (2007), Negative Influence (2004) and The Staff of Odo (2004).
