Echoes of Nigeria’s support for Angola’s Independence aspirations expected

The November edition of the monthly #FocusNationAfrica sessions, an initiative of The Difference Newspaper and partners to increase inter-nation knowledge of the African continent promises significant thrills.
With a focus on the nation of #Angola, the session would feature discussions centred around the 43rd year Independence celebrations of the Portuguese speaking nation, Nigeria’s contributions to Angola’s Independence project, Angola’s experience with petroleum industry and the plans by TAAG Angolan Airlines to take advantage of the multilateral Single African Air Transport Market, SAATM, effective November 2018.
Others are the march of democracy in Angola and Angola’s version of the continental war against corruption.
Analysts say that the session is expected to also, understandably, raise once again, echoes of Nigeria’s support for Angola’s Independence aspirations 42 years ago as well as examine the current state of relations between both independent African states and indeed, other African nations.
The session would hold in Lagos, Nigeria on Thursday, November 8, 2018 and it is coming on the heels of the September event which focussed on #Botswana and took place on Thursday, September 27, 2018 at the CRIMMD Free Public Library, Idimu Lagos.
