Otabil, Okonkwo for Word Conference 2017

Pastor Mensa Otabil, the founder of the International Central Gospel Church, Accra, Ghana and Bishop Mike Okonkwo of the Redeemed Evangelical Mission, TREM are among ministers billed to headline the 2017 Word Conference of the House on the Rock Church, Lekki, Lagos.

An avid commentator and teacher on issues relevant to Africa, Otabil was voted as the “Most Influential Person in Ghana”, in a 2015 ETV Ghana poll,

He is also the founder and Chancellor of Central University College even as he oversees the network of ministries of the International Central Gospel Church worldwide and serves as the senior pastor of Christ Temple, a ministry of the International Central Gospel Church.

The 2017 edition of the Word Conference has the theme “Finding, Living and Fulfilling Your Purpose & Destiny,” and runs from Wednesday, 3rd to Sunday 7th of May, 2017 at The Rock Cathedral, Lekki, Lagos.

A statement from the House on the Rock Church outlines that ‘the aim of the Word Conference is to equip, impact and inspire believers with the richer concepts of God’s word for their transformational role in the society, and for a victorious life in Christ.’

Other speakers scheduled to address at the conference are Dr. Bill Winston, Bishop Tudor Bismark, Rev. (Mrs) Funke Felix- Adejumo and Pastor Paul Adefarasin. The conference will also feature internationally acclaimed artistes including; Gabriel Eziashi, Sammie Okposo, Nathaniel Bassey, Onos Ariyo and The Lagos Metropolitan Gospel Choir.
