The President of the African Development Bank, AfDB, Dr. Akinwunmi Adesina, has expressed his concern over the state of unrest in Nigeria at the moment.

In a series of tweets published on his verified Twitter handle, the Nigerian-born Adesina, who recently commenced a second term in office called on the authorities to ensure that the future of the youth is secured even in the midst of the now lingering #EndSARS protests.

1.I am distressed by the unrest in Nigeria. The youth are the life of our nation. They are the present, our tomorrow and our future. Securing their future must start with protecting their lives.
