Questions over why activist, Chido Onumah was arrested

With no official word from the authorities, questions are being asked as to why the activist, writer and journalist, Dr. Chido Onumah was arrested in Nigeria on Sunday.

Onumah, who recently bagged a doctorate degree in Communication was returning to Nigeria from Europe when he was reportedly picked up by men suspected to be from the Department of State Services, DSS.

Being the latest in what is being perceived in activist and social media circles as a clampdown on voices of dissent in the nation, questions are thus being asked as to what Onumah, author of We are all Biafrans, may have specifically done to draw the ire of the authorities.
