The intrepid pan-African travel and tourism promoter, Raphael James, the writer, Chuma Nwokole and banker-blogger, Oluwole Sheriff Olusanya are three of the participants billed to make presentations at Thursday’s #FocusNationAfrica summit holding at the Resource Hall of the Ignite Africa Leadership Foundation in Oregun, Lagos.
James, founder of the CRIMMD Free Public Library in Idimu, Lagos has garnered tens of awards for his public-spirited and humanitarian endeavours as well as his abiding advocacy for the reading culture, African history, historical tourism and the development and further expansion of the travel and tourism space in the continent.
On his part, Chuma Nwokolo is a much-travelled pan-African writer who has published novels like One More Tale for the Road, The Ghost of Sani Abacha and the Extinction of Menai. A trained advocate, he is also the lead promoter and originator of the #BribeCode advocacy project, an original initiative designed to curb Corporate Corruption on the continent.
The third principal discussant, Oluwole Sheriff Olusanya works with Sterling Bank and is equally a consummate blogger and knowledge seeker.
The event which has Angola as Focus Nation for the month begins at 11.00am and the theme of discussion is ‘Boosting Intra-African Travel: Experiences, Lessons and Proposals.’
It is being put together by the pan-African newspaper, The Difference along with partners.
