Commentators fault match officials for poor officiating

It was a relieved Super Eagles side that took to the airwaves Saturday to celebrate their holding out against the Bafana Bafana of South Africa.

At the close of the encounter which ended 1-1, the Nigerians successfully qualified for the finals of the AFCON2019 tournament that is scheduled to take place in Cameroon.

Meanwhile, several commentators have faulted the performance of match officials in the decisive encounter, insinuating that Nigeria should have won the match 3-1 had they been fairer.

It was however not known if the Super Eagles would be contesting the match outcome for whatever it is worth.

The South Africans had one the first leg played in Nigeria by a surprise 2-0 margin.
