Why Victor Osimhen is man of the moment

By Tasie Theodore

The Nigerian international, Victor Osimhen, who made a landmark switch over from LOSC Lille to Napoli FC at the weekend is making the news as man of the moment for several reasons.

In addition to his landmark signing fee and contract sum that was initially put at 50 million pounds but which close observers say could eventually come to a whooping 80 million pounds, Osimhen who has cut his niche as one of the best attacking forwards in the game at the moment is expected to help the team achieve its winning plans through scoring no less than three scores of goals in the next season.

The 21-year old Nigerian international, who plays for the national team, the Super Eagles, had scored 13 goals in the Ligue 1 in the 2019/2020 season for Lille FC before his current move to Napoli.
